Cate Navarrete is a second generation Cuban-American studying Business Administration at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Cate hosts “Generation Body Positive,” a podcast in which she dissects identity, diet culture, body image, and more, frequently speaking with activists, influencers, and friends about their own experiences with identity, diet culture, body image, and more to amplify and empower diverse voices. Previously, Cate participated in a social enterprise fellowship with The Ripple Center where she began developing a company focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion within the entertainment industry. She also spent two years conducting research at Northeastern University within the Applied Psychology Program for Eating and Appearance Research. In her spare time, she enjoys film photography, writing, and spending time with her friends and family.
