Isabella Amador

she/her/hers

Isabella, a biology major at the University of Maryland-College Park on a pre-PA track, transformed her personal journey of overcoming body image struggles into a platform for change. As the creator of Body Positive Alliance's K-5 anti-bias curriculum—an initiative that earned her the title of co-founder and was featured on Nickelodeon—she is committed to de-stigmatizing differences and fostering acceptance among younger generations. Driven by the desire to provide the kind of support she wished she'd had as a child, Isabella also took a key role in expanding Body Positive Alliance by acquiring a nonprofit to affiliate with the organization, which led to the creation of a chapter at her university. Outside her advocacy work, she teaches barre at a local fitness studio, fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates movement for all body types.
